Willamette Sauna Haüs was born from a simple joy: the feeling you get when your shoulders drop your breath slows, and the world gets a little quieter.

Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Kris and Maddie Brenneman, our love affair with sauna culture spans years, miles, and many happy plunges. From steamy spas in Southeast Asia, to the milky blue calm of Iceland's Blue Lagoon, to hidden hot springs and roadside saunas across the U.S., we've always been chasing that reset--the kind you feel in your bones. We are, proudly, suckers for a good sauna experience.

 

Sauna has long been part of our everyday life. We've had saunas in previous homes, and more recently built a sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub at home --a cozy little ritual that quickly became a magnet for friends and family. One soak turned into another, conversations stretched longer, laughter got louder, and eventually someone always asked, "Why doesn't everyone have access to this?"

That question stuck.

After getting married, we planted roots in the Willamette Valley, drawn to foggy mornings, mossy forests, and a pace that invites you to linger. It felt like the perfect place for something warm, welcoming, and communal. And so, Willamette Sauna Haüs came to life.

Our mobile sauna is designed to meet people where they are--backyards, vineyards, forests, celebrations, and community gatherings. We offer private bookings, half-day and full-day rentals, and special events, all created with heat, heart, and hygge. Destressing and unwinding isn't just what we do--it's what we love most.

Kris is an adventure motorcycle rider, world traveler, and devoted dad, always chasing the next beautiful road. Maddie is a baker and artist who believes art lives everywhere--in firelight, in food, in handmade spaces--and a proud step-mommy who thrives on cozy nights and PNW living.

Together, we're building something that feels a little wild, a little cozy, and all sauna.
